The headers, footers and content had to display the relevant brand logos, icons, accent colours, translations and domain specific URL’s, dependant on which brand, region or domain the email was speaking from. A combination of 6 sub brands, logos and colours, 7 domains, 11 languages gave the possibility of hundreds of variants within the template. The headers and footers had 103 variants.
A combination of AMPScript and Salesforce's dynamic settings were used to control the template variants.
